I think it’s good to be aware of this, because it can lead to a lot of discussions about how it’s going to look, whether or not it’s worth the hassle, and what you might have done differently.
I have a couple of friends whose projects are completely covered in paint. One of them painted the entire interior of his house, and another painted a house the previous owner lived in. I think they are just really great people who take pride in what they do.
It seems to me that paint is one of those things that we just don’t think about very often or often enough. I think its because painting a home is often a hassle that we just don’t think about it. I think it is because it is something that we put a lot of energy into making it look beautiful. We spend so much time perfecting every aspect of the home that we rarely think of the fact that its probably going to look crap in a few years.
This is a good example of what I’m talking about. I’ve worked in the paint industry for close to 20 years. I’m a very good teacher and I’m always telling people to think of the finish of their home as a business. My biggest tip is to stop looking at your home as a home and look at it as your business.
The biggest challenge, though, is to stop thinking of it as your home. Im talking about not comparing it to your neighbors’, your sister’s’, your mom’s, or your friends’. You don’t want to be comparing something to your neighbors, because you may decide it’s not as attractive as it should be.
I think it’s important to keep that mentality, because at the end of the day, your home is not always going to be perfect. It’s not always going to be a place you want to show up and invite people over. The best way to make your home better is to make it your best work space. The next best way is to make your home your best work space.
