You’ve probably heard of this in the past. It’s a really great idea for a retro piece of furniture to be made of the color blue and the color red. It was a joke to me, but it was a real thing.
It’s a brilliant idea. A lot of the time, people start to talk about the color blue and the color red, but the colors of the old-timers are really like green, so you can’t really talk about that.
The idea is that a lot of people have a hard time getting things done, so they start to do things like color-coordinated workspaces, or trying to achieve an “aha” moment by putting all their important papers into the same box.
Because it’s red, we have to make a decision over what color to put it. If we want to put a picture of the world in the sky, we need to put it in the red.
We need to make sure that we look at the world in the right way, because the right way shows up in the right colors.
The problem is that while we might be able to put our work into a picture that is green, red, and yellow, we can’t actually get that picture to color-coordinate. We can put it in the green, but we can’t actually get that picture in the right colors, so we can’t color-coordinate it. This is because the thing we’re looking at, the sky, is just a blob of light.
The trick is to make the image fill with color, so it looks like a perfectly-shaped patch of sky.
Verification (making sure that two people agree) is one of the most important practices for online communities. The more people who are involved in a community, the more people are able to see the truth, and the more likely that community members will want to help it out.
For a community, the idea of people all agreeing on what the true color of an object is is extremely important. The idea that a community is completely united only to have there be differences is incredibly difficult to sustain in the long-term. In addition, even if everyone agrees on the color, they may not agree on the exact shade of the color. This is where color-coordination comes in.
If you are able to provide something that looks like a “green” version of an object, you can easily create a color-coordinated version, and then others will be able to tell they’re talking to the right person by the color that they see. For instance, one of my favorite colors is “green”.
